T'other day the fella was asking where the saved file of the infamous flappy salmon foul food foto was. Which seemed abruptly random to me, but he wanted it to send to Thomas The Human Photocopier.

I think it may be time to bring the Foul Food Foto back!

Remember the ever so tasty looking Foul Food Fotos from last year?

In which every Friday I would post up a photo... a bit like this...

or this...

I think it's time to reintroduce them. Perhaps I'll just stick to once a month though as it became quite impossible to keep up with it every week.

And for those that may not know anything of these most delicious photos... the idea behind it, was to take pictures of the terrible photos you may come across in cookbooks, that on one glance, you know you'd go nowhere near the food, let alone sniff it.

Just pure foul looking food.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 10

Well, haven't I been naughty! What a good bad bloggeroo I've been recently... not keeping my Friday's Foul Food Foto promises... I've been very naughty indeed...

... but who can blame me...

My lists recently have been as long as both of my arms and body put together (which equals 5"2). I only know this as apparently your arm span (including your body) is the same as your height. I know...there's not much of me.

Yes... recently life a la Moopette Maison has been very crazy and hectic. We've had many lovely visitors over the past few weeks, the kids had a holiday from School, I've been running a new business, been in-talks about The Third Policeman and getting my head around all that needs to be made for it, going to my daughter's Preschool and filming them all to make a little video for them, trying to fitten up, making music videos and still trying to keep on top of normal life and have lots of fun.

So... pretty wiped out to be honest... and a tad perplexed whether to keep this all going really...

Do you lot like seeing my strange little music videos, concoctions of makes, things about life, kids and nonsense?? It's funny isn't it, this whole blogging thang... writing your brain away into the world, wondering who or if anyone's interested.

Anyhow... enough of that talk... I thought that as I'd missed this week's Food Foto I'd better come up with the goods... so here's a double whammy...

Isn't it just such a sight of beauty?! The juxtaposition is fabulous isn't it...

On another note, we had a little surprise tonight and found out that Mr Phizmiz (aka husband) was on Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone  just today, at around 15 mins in. It's always nice when we hear about a surprise radio playing.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 8 ... And a whole 7 years of marriage...

Well, I'm not only bringing you a belated Foul Food Foto but today we're celebrating seven whole years of being married and ten years of being together.

First of all, for those of you that have been waiting for it, here is Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 8...

Yum yum! Tasty food for your tum...

Found that WI cook books from the 70s seem to be some of the best books with foul photos of food. They're fabulous for them! Plates upon plates of sickening, nauseating looking food.

To me, this meal looks a bit like play dough made food and the parts in the middle look like half chewed up food that's been spat out again.

On another note... today, seven years ago, about two hours ago precisely I was marrying the fellow I'd been with for three years, with a little un on the way.

Looking back, I wish I had gone along with that dress that I'd eyed up. An off the shoulder with ruffled breast panel, with beautiful flowing full skirt which I would have most likely worn with some black dms, but didn't then, at 19 have as many balls as I've developed now. Alas, I went with this long linen white skirt and a linen, white and blue top to cover my 6 month bump.

Unfortunately too, this seems to be the one and only okish photo. Being six months pregnant and a tad on the overweight side anyway, at the time, I wouldn't say I was a so very photogenic bride. And colour scheme... well... yeah, I find it all really cringey now. I had wanted the bridesmaids to wear more natural fibres too, but left it to them what to wear, but was thinking on the greeny blue kind of side to go with the stitching on my own top. I think someone suggested the Mr wore a yellow top, so the little fellows did too... but now, looking back, I think the pics make me feel a little...sick.

It's a shame the photos don't really capture how the day was, as it was an amazing and marvellous day. I walked down the aisle to the OH playing his accordion with a tune he had composed, which nearly had me in floods of happy tears. We said our own vows and had my new brother in-law reading some poems he'd made up of us and play the violin. We asked people to take photos throughout the day (we didn't want an extremely extravagant full blown wedding), all 100 of the people took a bite of French toast to toast us, we had a cake made from yum yums, we made our own little play list of music and had a little boogie, had silly polaroids of us stuck all over the walls and had a giant bunny walking around the whole day. It was all very laid back, fun, silly and heart warming.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 7 ... And other stories...

Finally back to blogging about this crazy life. It's been nonstop recently and thanks to blogger's massive fail last Friday there wasn't a foul food foto last week, but there's a very special one for today anyhow.

You woudn't believe it, but it's actually some kind of fishy something-or-other, that I would prefer not to name, to leave you all guessing a wee bit.

Foul? Yes... I think so!

It seems as if there's a bit of a related "fsh ming" theme going on with these photos...

We had Mr Oblivian Substanshall (will put the link up here later) with us over the weekend recording with the OH. So, we decided to get on with it and make a video...

I think they're very beautiful.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 6

It's getting later and later in the day every week, but I'm still sticking to it!

Seems a bit daft not to, after finding the perfect books full of foul food photos. And this would be microwave cookbooks available in abundance from all charity shops. This one happens to be from 1984 and so is as old as me, funnily enough.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 5

There's been waaaay too many fishy things going on around this blog in the past month. 

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 2 seems to have been a hit, coming in with the most views of all of these disgusting treats. And just yesterday's blog post had a bit of a fishy ending too.

And apparently things come in three... or maybe they just should because people say it and prefer them to. 

So here you have it. Third fishy circumstance being a mackerel or two.

 

 And foul looking mackerel that it be. Reminds me of a David Attenborough programme where you saw a whale's carcass being eaten away at by a large amount of slimey hagfish. 

Enjoy your long weekend. And don't eat any hagfished mackerel while you're at it.

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 4

Afraid it's been a bit of a rushed job this week as I completely forgot it was Friday. Well I had realised this morning but as the day continued, remembering it was Friday went out the window. Plus my mind was on all things sweet and scrummy (like honey) after taking the kinder-eggs to see the new Winnie The Pooh.

Anyhow, here you go. Looks like some kind of marrow stuffed with what looks like something my cat threw up last week, with bits of hairy mice in it.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Scrummy!!

What NOT to eat this weekend...

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 3

That time of the week again. Thank the soft cosy dressing gown, the slippers on my feet and the beans in my bowl. It's Friday!! Hip-hip-hooray! That day of the week, where you can throw all of the week's stresses away, where you can throw your heavy shoes off and stick your fingers up to the world, time to get stuck into that book you've been putting off all week, time to put your feet up and stay up that little bit later or completely letting go and getting a wee bit legless, drinking cocktails with olives in or the like (I don't think I actually know anyone who does this... ) but what the heck, it's FRIDAY!

And with it being Friday, oh yes, it can only be time for Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 3. It was a bit hard trying to top last week's Foto Numero 2 as it was a very special one indeed.

This one is pretty foul and horrid though...

Mmmmmmmmmm I like a little spittle on my savoury jelly meal...

Some savoury kind of jelly with foaming saliva anyone?? Anyone? I think I'll pass too. But phewph, we now know not what we should eat this weekend. Safe!

Annoyingly our computer and the world of the internet were at wars with a virus just a couple of days ago, so that means we've lost everything on the computer including photoshop. Damn and blast! I think I pretty much live on photoshop, so we'll have to find it out and get things rolling again, so I can get back to being a little bit of a perfectionist and making the photos just right!

Friday's Foul Food Foto Numero 2

I'm not sure whether you have been looking forward to this, but I have been thinking about it, *ALL* week long. 

And this one is very special indeed, as you can see. I'm afraid it's a bit on the side of risqué... and should so appropriately be titled, "Fishy flaps".

There's just something so very inappropriate about this succulent seductive slab of salmon, nicely placed by long slippery spears of asparagus. Are you turned on yet? Yep... pass the bucket... I think my lunch is beginning to repeat on me...

Plaited lamb anyone??

To me this looks like a couple of slabs of things you might find on the bottom of your shoe, when on a country walk, surrounded by what looks like pickled onions. The word "spam" springs to mind. S.P.A.M. Oh yum. This kind of makes me want to vomit... how does it make you feel?
