Sure thing Sugar

Alrighty all.

Recently I have been getting very excited about moving into our new house at the beginning of April...
Sugar sweet
...and have been increasingly tempted to buy nice wares for the nice new house. The nice new house that doesn't have peach walls in the kitchen. The nice new house that doesn't have pretty much no heating. The nice new house that doesn't just have one bathroom. The nice new house that isn't so back dated it's falling apart constantly and we're on the verge of having the estate agents on speed dial...
Aaaaah the nice new house.
No peach walls! Hurrah!

I have also been knitting leg warmers for the small but tallest of the two, for her School play...

...although I didn't exactly follow a pattern and guessed how loops to cast on, so they ended up being too big...

So, I'm trying again...

...and thinking I might line them with some nice floral material. I'm quite happy with them as I've only ever knitted the most simplest of things (blankets and scarves) but this seems, somehow, more proper.

We've also been celebrating the smallest's fifth birthday...

...and bouncing on bouncy castles with friends as soon as the bouncy castle was kid free and they were stuffing their faces with party food.

I've also recently discovered this...

...which is an amazing accompaniment to any tomato based dish if you like things spicy.
Oooo blurry...
And I'm currently enjoying this book...

I've also been wondering recently why many people have problems with pancakes. I tend to bung all the ingredients together (the same amount of milk {soya} as flour and then depending on the amount, one or two eggs and voila!)...

And lastly... I have been pondering about the documentary film I'm making for the Vintage & Art Quarter in Bridport. It is progressing, but very slowly. Between working in the baby boutique/gift shop, selling antiques and vintage wares on ebay for Bridport Antiques (The Alleyways), book-keeping, the new filming/editing job that's recently come up (which is very exciting too) and having a family and being a mummy...oh! And of course Isle of Tea... it's hard to keep up with who I am, let alone make a large amount of progress on this film!

I'm sure it'll come together at some point!

Cheers! Here's to not losing my mind...

the new house sounds exciting! worth it just not to have peach walls and crap heating. but it sounds loads better all round.

was wondering the other day how your big timetable was going - well by the sounds of it - I still need to do something like that to make myself better at selling stuff... books and postcards as I've had enough of wrapping the fragile stuff to survive the post. got distracted by finding the ikea bookcase needed a massive mending job, then got distracted by the garden...;)x
